Please review these requirements before sending a single to CD TEX.
No-AI music policy*
CD TEX accepts music created and performed by human musicians and vocalists. AI-generated music, vocals, instruments or backing tracks are not accepted, even if a person wrote the lyrics. If AI was used anywhere in the submitted music and you are unsure whether it qualifies, ask CD TEX before submitting. File checks cannot prove whether AI was used; the team reviews the recording.
Permission to submit and deliver
You must have authority to submit the recording, provide correct information, and secure the necessary copyright licenses and permissions for digital delivery for broadcast and promotional use, including streaming, listening and preview access. Read the permissions statement in the form. A confirmation that we received your form does not mean the song has been approved.
Review, payment & timing
CD TEX checks whether the song fits the country styles we serve, how the recording sounds, whether it contains strong language or adult content, the songwriter details, artwork and permission to use the music. An approved submission receives an invoice at the supplied billing email. Payment is due before delivery. Requested dates require confirmation; allow at least five business days for processing.
Two mailings for your single
The service includes the initial mailing and one complimentary repeat during the life of the single. You are responsible for contacting CD TEX to request the repeat, ideally a week ahead. Include the song, preferred date and a short, accurate headline. The repeat is not scheduled automatically. There is no fixed 12-week cutoff.
Your description
Your biography or description is used exactly as submitted. Editing and proofreading are not included. Check the preview and spelling before finishing.
Files & optional services
Audio: final WAV or uncompressed AIFF, 44.1 kHz, 16-bit. Cover: square artwork at least 500 × 500 pixels. Banner: 468 × 125 pixels, or request banner creation. Artwork may be JPG, PNG or PDF; PDFs need staff review. Optional weekly radio tracking is available in 4, 8 or 12-report packages. Reports are prepared on Mondays for the previous Monday through Sunday. Each personal report shows detected radio plays, the stations that played your song, and the change from the previous week when complete comparison data is available. We confirm your recording and first reporting week. Coverage is limited to monitored stations, so this is not a count of every radio play. Tracking does not guarantee airplay or a chart position. Radio decisions
CD TEX delivery does not guarantee airplay or chart results. Stations make their own programming decisions. This service does not upload songs to streaming stores.
