"Texas For Me" was inspired on the morning after a Randy Rogers Band concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. While crossing the Guadalupe River on the way out of town, the line "i'd take the Guadalupe over that ol' Chatahoochie" came to mind. That became the beginning of the chorus of "Texas For Me". It's a love song to Texas and a proclamation of what all the great state has to offer.
